Introduction

Thank you for visiting my website and taking a look through the privacy policy. This privacy policy contains an explanation of how and why we collect any of your personal information when you interact with us through our website, social media, and in-person services.

How we process it and how it is stored securely. 

By using this website or my photographic services you are agreeing to be bound to this policy.

Prime Imagery Scotland is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal data collected will be treated as confidential in line with GDPR and any UK data protection laws.

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: This includes your name, address, Date of Birth, email address, phone number, and any other details you provide when booking a session or contacting us, Date, location & time of job.
  • Payment Information: If you make a payment, we collect payment details through our payment processor. We do not store your payment information.
  • Photos and Images: We may retain copies of the photos we take during sessions for our portfolio.
  • Third party information (such as family members or other relevant parties)
  • Transaction data (including details about payments to and from you and details of products and services you have purchased)
  • Usage data (including information about how you interact with and use our website, products and services)
  • Website user information
  • Purchase or service history
  • Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.

Where we get personal information from

  • Directly from you

These details are either collected or captured through my website, social media accounts or via email.These are kept for as long as necessary from your initial enquiry. They are kept within password protected systems which are GDPR compliant.  

Your personal Information is kept privately and stored securely until a time it is no longer needed or required i.e. for invoicing and accounts purposes. The information collected following an enquiry will be to enable us to provide you with further information about our services and products. 

Your information is kept for internal record keeping and for the purpose of issuing invoices and booking conformations. At no point is your information disclosed or shared to any third party, your information will only be disclosed when requested by law. In the unlikely event of a breach of your data I will inform The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if your personal data was involved you will also be informed.

 

In order to provide photographic services to you, I take and store photographs from your event. These photographs are stored for a minimum of a year or as long as the storage disks are functional.  This service is provided as a legitimate interest. I advise you to make your own backup arrangements to safeguard the long-term security of the files.

 

Should you wish me to remove your photographs from my hard disks, backups after your photographs have been delivered or from Social media platforms, Please provide me with an email confirming your request. Images are processed within Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop contained within a password protected computer and account using two step verification.

I may also post photos from your event/photo session in a variety of places, such as my website and social media. This will be done only with your permission. Should any member of your event/party/family member not wish to be included in this, please let me know by email. In addition to this, I also provide you with the ability to opt out (within the terms and conditions) of posting photographs from your photo session in the various places.

In providing our services we create photographs which may identify you, your family members and other participants and that may be considered personal data. Our photographs may be produced in print and digital format. You are responsible for ensuring that all participants in a photograph session/your wedding party have been informed.

Any invoice or data involved in purchases and sales are kept as per HMRC’s requirements. After this time it will be destroyed. Paper copies of accounts are provided to my accountant for tax purposes.

We never store financial, banking or card information for customers. Transactions are made via Tide Platform Ltd.

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and manage our photography services.
  • To communicate with you regarding bookings, inquiries, and feedback.
  • To send you updates  (you can opt-out at any time).
  • To improve our services and website.

This data is kept securely. Your information is not used for any marketing purposes or to enroll you into a newsletter, your data will only be used to respond to enquiries made by you or to provide a service.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g., payment processors, email services and systems suppliers).
